If you're wondering who is Techy Tameka... Well, she is an animated puppet used to facilitate learning to youngsters using virtual technology. Techy Tameka was created by our "techspert" and founder, whose original name is Rosetta "Tomieka" Boone. She is from Houston, Tx and is an experienced K-12 teacher, Early Childhood college professor, and Instructional Design Artist that loves animation and has a deep understanding of Math and Technology. Tomieka has designed the ultimate formula for eLearning success by intertwining art and modern day technology.

How Tomieka's Curiosity is Changing Lives Today...

She graduated Salutatorian of her high-school class, and was the type of student that would have teachers scratching their heads in wonder of how she managed to wow them each and every time. She was always that goofy kid coming up with ideas and new ways to solve things. She was puzzled about why learning had to be so boring and wanted to find ways to make it fun every moment of the day. Her inquisitive mind has always felt the need to make a change in our education system.

During her first 9 months of her teaching career, she was promoted to Center Manager for Head Start and attended the annual NAEYC seminar as a speaker, introducing innovative ways to impact young children through technology. It was then that she knew she wanted to use her love for technology and her passion for education to make an impact on children virtually. Her services during COVID became such a demand that she had to turn parents away. But this year, she figured out how to expand her services by training professionals to use creativity to meet children in their world and bring them up to speed as 21st century learners. Through the expansion of Tutoring with Techy Tameka LLC, she has made it her mission to serve over 1,000 kids and strives to help them get on or above grade level.
